There must be some psychological reason why as soon as the UK winter hits I start painting summery foods. In that spirit here's the latest in my new series of 3D ice lolly pictures with a bite taken out of one corner. As usual the food object is suspended against a sky blue background. This one is different from previous ones though as I've basically made up an ice lolly. It's meant to be orange flavoured ice with icing and sprinkles on top.

The end result is a colourful painting that would brighten up any room in your home, or would make an ideal gift for someone with a sweet tooth.

It is painted in acrylics on thick high quality A4 paper. PLEASE NOTE: the painting doesn't come framed, but I've taken photos of it in a white A4 frame for display purposes. So the fifth picture best shows what you'll be receiving. Message me separately for framed prices!

I've been inspired to create work like this by classic pop artists like Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein and Patrick Caulfield.
