Original artwork description:

OPPUS 2 - is painted reversed on 4 mm tempered glass (the first element painted on the back of the painting is the firs we see on the front).
OPPUS 2 (as all the OPPUS series of my glass paintings) is about opposites that complement and support each other.

OPPUS 2 was inspired by a a book entitled "The Forgotten Genessis". The ideea was that nothing come to life in our world without its opposite. Opposites are meant to maintain a ballance and - in order to live a fulfilled life - we have to know and aknowledge our opposite and to integrate it in our life.
The painting depicts a "tree of life" containing flowers, fruits, animals and birds, from the most simple ones, like the worms at the base of the tree, to the most evolved ones, as the humans figures depicted on the top branches.
Each half of the tree is identical to the other with the difference that the colours of the elements in the left half are opposites and complementary to the colors of the elements in the right half of the tree.
The photos which I have chosen show the finished work, but also the progress stages and the back of the finished painting.

Material used: ink, oils and pure silver foil.
Dimenssions without frame: 45 x 45 cm. The painting is sold framed
Frame: 7 cm wood frame. Frame colour: patina brown
Dimenssions with frame: 59 x 59 cm
The painting is hand signed on the front side and is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity and the original invoice, all signed by artist.
Packing is done professionally, in wood box or similar and the painting is well protected for damage (I've sent my paintings to buyers and exhibitions in England, Portugal, Qatar, etc. and there were no problems during the handling and transportation)
Shipping method: by courier (DPD, or similar).
