This sculpture belong to open volume series, made in iron and finish with black patine.
This series seeks the participation of the viewer in the generation of the sculptural volume.
The natural process of creating the sculpture would have been to close all the sides to generate a solid and static body, but in these pieces some of the sides have been deliberately left open so that the viewer can complete them through of the observation process.
In this way a changing work is achieved, which must be recomposed by the gaze of the subject who observes it and therefore by as many sculptures as there are visions of spectators.
This set of sculptures is close to the concept that Picasso referred to "drawing in space", since with a few edges the artist suggests the entire volume of the work. A changing, dynamic, plastic volume that endows the work with mystery and life.
