La Bicyclette is a quintessential cozy bistro and relaxed neighborhood spot in the heart of charming Carmel-by-the-Sea. The quirky corner space offers petite but comfortable wooden chairs and tables, set beneath hanging copper pots and, of course, there is a bicycle in front of it. I have always been drawn to the interplay of shadows and reflections in the windows, as well as bright blue color of the awning.
