Original artwork description:
An expressive abstract in interlocking strokes of blues, greens, recalling the colors of tropical waters. This painting is an intuitive process that requires as much looking as painting. This intuitive process taps into the purely visual non-language right brain - a meditative unfolding I liken to speaking in tongues. Instead of vocalizing, I let the paint act as my medium of meditation. I then invents titles as a part of this process, which are meant to be spoken aloud by the viewer.
The physical act of painting forces living in the moment, no thoughts beyond the easel.
Materials used:
I was using professional grade acrylic colors with premium quality color, pigments that have high resistance to fading. Sides are continuously painted, so there is no need to frame.
