I am a flea market junkie and love picking up random things from these markets. This jar is something I picked up at a flea market recently. I tried setting up a still life with these onions and the jar under a strong light source like I usually do. I love painting crisp and strong shadows. I was however not too pleased with the effect. Then I turned off the light and tried painting the ambient light on a very grey day. I have captured the natural daylight on a cloudy day and I am quite pleased with the result.

This original painting ships unframed and I will be very happy to offer framing suggestions. It will look great displayed on a small display easel too.
