Playing with different shades of blue colour Zakhar Shevchuk attempted to transfer the feeling of cold winter to the viewer. It is interesting, how one simple element - in our case a short black horizon line in the middle of the paining, allows our eyes to anchor on it and build the surrounding world, which without such eye anchor would be perceived as a pure abstraction. Once we focus on that element, we may see the sky and clouds, we may imagine a line of trees to the right and a field covered with snow, in the lower part of the artwork.
The artwork will be shipped carefully and safely rolled in a durable plastic tube because of its large size. Rolled artworks can easily be re-stretched.
