My abstract expressionist take on a one of my favourite fruits. I love the contrasting textures of the leaves and the surface of the fruit. I’ve kept the colour palette fairly localised to concentrate on on the form and texture of the fruit. I have used acrylic washes in the background to keep the eye focused on the fruit.
