It is a heavily textured artwork (Impasto) which shows someone who has struggled to conquer a burden, tragic event, or a personal roadblock to success or happiness only to see they have another river to cross and mountain to climb. This is a great painting to represent tenacity, persistence, strength and courage. Sold unframed and painted on the sides so it can be hung as is.
