Original artwork description:

This image jumped out at me whilst editing a bunch of shots from a recent photographic 'Muse' session. Often I can't explain what it is that makes me want to paint a specific picture. And although I've tried to analise my decisions, more often than not I tend to go with my gut feel and (again) more often than not ... I'm happy with the outcome.

'One More' Coat' is an oil painting on a 300gsm (Waterford Saunders) art paper, using a range of 'sepia' colours from a light tint of Naples Yellow up to Raw Umber. A part of the painting was then treated with a number of [very] translucent 'coats' of Prussion Blue ... and when it was nearly finished I came up with the title. Enjoy.
