Original large dimensional painting by Hungarian artist Zsombor Barakonyi.
Story about painting:
23rd Street Local Station on the BMT Broadway The New York City Subway is an iconic place. One would not say it according to the subtle entrance to the underground. But when you find yourself in this place, you are in the heart of New York. The typical daily life of this never-sleeping city flows around you. Bicycling and knocking people between cars and buses, pedestrians rushing to a Broadway theater show or a museum or gallery on nearby Fifth Avenue in Manhattan. Some are going from there with full shopping bags - pleased to be able to spend a lot of dollars in the world's most expensive stores.
The crazy world revolves around you. It repeats every day. As refrain songs by Frank Sinatra New York, New York. You stand there at 23rd Street local station and you hear and sing the melody of this everlasting evergreen. Even though you can't hear it anywhere on the street, looking at the vibrant life around you will automatically play it in your head ....
His unique visual language offers viewers new levels of perceiving reality, in which, by overwriting conventional approaches, he builds a dialectic relationship between content and objectuality. His works are postmodern panel paintings depicting visions of metropolitan flâneur.
