Dramatic Semi-Abstract Mixed media painting “Once it was a Lake”” by Galina Zimmatore. This painting inspired by the beautiful ever-changing colours of Mother Nature is a spectacle to be seen in any season. Surreal looks of crimson, yellow, grey interspersed with deep blue skies. It would be a great gift for any occasion for someone who really appreciates Mother Nature in its raw glory.
My idea for the name of this painting came firstly by planning painting a lake, this than change to an abstract and eventually evolved into this landscape. The transformation can be seen step by step on my video on youtube.
