Original artwork description:

86 hours of my life in one picture, 86 hours of work on the picture

In this happy watercolor painting, I intended to capture a moment of radiant joy. In the plot, children are playing with soap bubbles one spring day in April. In this plot, I see a metaphor for the childish part of us that will always encourage us to dream and make those dreams come true. My first trip to Spain was remembered by the depth of the moment, I saw this game of children in the square in front of the Cathedral in Barcelona. I approach travel with the philosophy: "Travel is a small life." This little life in Barcelona revived in me the desire to dream boldly.

With the help of sweeping, fast movements with paint and painstakingly worked out pre-drawing, I record on paper the moment of unconditional happiness of pure children's hearts. When I wrote this work, I felt delighted, and the loud laughter of those children rang in my ears. I smiled so much during the process of creating this painting, but my cheeks still don't hurt. In the picture, an ordinary game with soap bubbles turns into a sacred event of a universal scale for small children with big hearts of love.
The square in front of the Cathedral is filled with midday light in April, creating whimsical shadows on the cathedral. Imagine everyone so preoccupied with their own affairs that they do not notice how diligently the master of bubbles in a red jacket creates them in order to prolong the children's joy for another minute.

My desire was to tell the story of a moment of true happiness through connection with our inner child. To fill the creation with serenity, to give it juicy colors of life and simple pleasure from the game.

For me, a work of art goes beyond the genre of painting - a cityscape with its energy and the depth of the plot, which I lived in the process of creation. This picture is a turning point in my work in terms of technical complexity and is filled with the depth of changes that have been happening to me since coming to Spain.
