"Once in a Blue Moon" is painted with acrylic on a 24 x 36 x 1.5 inch gallery-wrapped canvas, edge painted, ready to hang.

In January, I painted a series of images that were quite different for me -- incorporating color and different tools and approaches. One painting I considered particularly odd -- even for me. I set it aside as a possible paint-over, but it continued to linger and actually migrated upstairs from the studio to the "viewing" room. Now, it seems almost prescient in its depiction of personal isolation -- a harbinger of our current reality.
