Original artwork description:

A young relative once mixed up the 2 sayings "Once in a blue moon" and "In donkey's ages" when he was trying to say 'not very often'.

The saying was born and is still a source of fun for my family and for others. Images of things that don't happen often are shown here. This would make a fun piece to start conversations, or alternatively, a painting for a child's bedroom. What better way to stir a child's imagination with this piece of whimsy?

The edges are finished in the background colour which makes it suitable for hanging with or without framing.
