Artwork description:

That day we were in search of some good seafood. We used TripAdvisor but as it was Monday and we were in a small town, we couldn't find anything we liked in close proximity. In the end, we decided to drive over 20 miles to some remote restaurant with great reviews, in an even smaller town further south the coast to find out we had been led to the local chip shop. After a giggle and a greasy dinner, with batteries recharged, we went out to explore the neighbourhood. Mariliza realized we had to pay for parking, so she left me alone for a minute or two. I had noticed an open gate with an amazing wall in the background. I stood a bit higher and built my composition dividing the image into 3 vertical strips and diagonal lines below created by the gate and cropping out unnecessary elements of the busy street. I took a photo and saw her coming back, smiling.
