Original artwork description:

Contemporary abstract oil painting which is a celebration of morning and nature.  The deep olive green is translucent in places, showing small streaks of crimson.  The looping large brushstrokes are set upon a carefully blended ground, the contrast increasing the intentionality of their free dynamic. There is abstraction from nature - deliberately ambiguous (cloud or foliage/light or lightning) - it is for the viewer to decide what they are seeing.
