Driving to the islands just off the coast of Sarasota in Florida inspired this Expressionist painting. The busyness of the boats, buildings, trees, the bridge and the cars on it all add up to a fun and challenging composition. Spectacular color plays an important role in this painting not unlike most of my work. The artwork is unframed, gallery wrapped, with the image painted all the way around the edges. All the needed hardware is attached and the painting is ready to hang on the wall. Shipping costs can be reduced by un-stretching the canvas and rolling it in a tube.
