On The Waterfront. 9 colour screen print on hardwood ply with resin finish. Edition of 5. 2019.

Titled after the Marlon Brando movie set in 1950's Brooklyn this piece is a nod to the cinematic history of New York. Starting as a montage of 10 original photographs taken from the same angle on the pier at Greenpoint this piece shows a ferry coming in to dock and a passenger disembarking, with the iconic Manhattan skyline in the background.
This piece is printed on hardwood ply and features a lot of the original grain of the wood showing through, each piece in the edition has it's own character due to the unique character of each piece of wood.
