There are not many words to say. Here the air speaks for itself.
I was so smitten by this view (I walk by it thousands of times), the air was so warm and affectionate, the coolness of the melting snow was invigorating. The sun inspired a sea of new hopes. That is, I painted this etude with such force, with such great enthusiasm, that no words can tell it.
Of course, from nature. This sketch was followed by three more paintings from almost the same place. Approximately the same size. By the way, not very small, because I wanted a lot of space and a lot of air. It the spring!
The sketch was painted in 2017. At a favorite place near our forest lake. Canvas is 100 percent linen. I chose oil paints of the highest quality.
