Artwork description:
This print shows a view looking out to sea in Saltburn on the NE coast of England. (This version does not have oystercatchers flying past).
It's an original reduction linocut print, using just one block of lino and a process of carving away the lino between each layer of colour to produce the final image.
My linocuts are handmade from start to finish - hand carved, inked and handprinted, and as such they will have small variations between prints - making each print into a unique artwork.
As these prints are quite large, they will be sent packaged in a reinforced tube. If you have any questions, please just get in touch and thanks for taking a look!
Materials used:
UNICA Fabriano paper, cream, 250gsm, Lawrence linseed oil relief ink.
