"On the sacred earth", mixed media and collage on paper, 15X15 cm

"On the sacred earth" is part of a series called : "Le Cabinet de curiosités", "Curiosity shop".

It's freely inspired by the "Cabinets of curiosités", at the XIXe century, sorts of collections of natural and artificial objects that raised the curiosity of people. The steam punk style is inspired by these stranges collections. These series works in the same way : collecting forms, colors, and materials, and putting them together in sort of "chimeric" artistic creations, or automatic writing.

The artwork is done on a special strong paper for mixed media. The surface is varnished with a glossy varnish spray.

The artwork is sold UNFRAMED. It would be nice in an old "shabby chic" vintage frame, or in an oversized black baroque frame...

This handmade artwork will be delivered with an invoice and a signed certificate of authenticity. Shipping carefully packed, insured and tracked.
