Symbol of purity, self-regeneration, and enlightenment, the white lotus symbolizes purification of the mind, body, and spirit. These elegant flowers also have a spiritual meaning as being awakened.

To experience the seasons, it has become a routine of mine to paint the first bloom around my surroundings, during its flowering season. This is my 2nd depiction of the beautiful Lotus Pond I spotted in Yun Yang Temple, Narre Warren North, Victoria. The first one found its forever home a day after release.

Flowers always bloom in their own time without competing with other flowers. May we all bloom in our time in the best season. Hope you enjoy this artwork of mine.
