As an avid watcher of wildlife documentaries, I often find myself drawn to the colours and patterns of animals and how they compliment or contrast with the landscape around them. In this piece, the patterns in the ground seem to echo the leopard's spots.
I used acrylic paints, inks and collage. I make my own collage papers by painting on lightweight sheets with layers of professional grade colour. After cutting out shapes with a knife, I glue the pieces onto good-quality paper using archival glue.
Unmounted: It comes wrapped in cellophane on a strong board. Flat packed. Suitable for international shipping
