On The Outside _x000D_ 86x61 Oil On Canvas _x000D_ _x000D_ This painting is created using REM intrusion hallucinations which I have because of my condition Narcolepsy. Essentially I dream while awake because my brain is in REM position when it shouldn’t be. _x000D_ This condition was found when my brain was scanned over a two day period at Guys Hospital. Though this has repercussions and limitation for my life eg. I am not allowed to drive be a witness or a jury member. It is on the other hand jet fuel to my creativity and allows me to create continuously. _x000D_ _x000D_ “The Outsider”_x000D_ I have always been an outsider. I’m from school to college to music industry not to art industry. I do not fit in anywhere. Or at least I don’t think I do. I get on with most people I have lovely friends and a life partner that loves me so I am not so much an outsider I do not partake in society. But I am an outsider and I guess I always will be. This is what that painting is about. _x000D_ _x000D_ This comes as a rolled canvas (heavy strong duck cotton canvas museum archival quality) and framer can stretch to board or frame for minimal cost around £100. This is several times cheaper than sending canvas stretched to wooden frame.
