From my Invisible Rooms series I decided to bring the aesthetics, but adding philosophy to the work. I had been studying the work of Friedrich Nietzsche and just finished Thus Spoke Zarathustra. I was so awe struck by such a powerful literary and philosophical masterpiece, and drawing inspiration from William Blake’s Illuminated Books and Goya’s prints, I decided to create a series for Thus Spoke Zarathustra, with one print for each of the eighty one speeches in the book.
