Are we sure we really know ourselves?
On the corner of a street, two distracted walkers. Both are lost in their thoughts, a moment before they collide. The sudden awarness of an unexpected side of our character leaves us stunned, in the same way coming face to face with a stranger turning into a side street: it generates alarm, tension, and even a little embarrassment. It is not possible to achieve full and total self-awareness, and sometimes we can’t believe at the way we instinctively react to life's challenges. I chose to represent the instant that precedes the collision, when what has to happen is still in potential, because the answers to a break in the balance are infinite, just as the causes can be infinite.
The corner canvas is 90° wide.
