This is a depiction of a scene on a local common. The sky is a luminous grey (difficult to capture on camera) blurring the edges of the greenery. I have attempted to blur the edges in the style of some of Gerhard Richter's photographic paintings. This is the first in a series of them.
The piece is painted using exceptional quality Old Holland and Winsor and Newton Artists' series oil paints and mediums with the highest ratings of permanence and light-fastness. The painting is on a fully archival canvas panel and is signed on the reverse.
The painting will be packaged following best-practice guidelines and despatched by signed for and fully tracked courier. The painting comes with a certificate of authenticity.
