Historically, cowboys played a significant role in the cattle industry, particularly during the late 19th century when cattle ranching was prevalent in the western United States. They were known for their distinctive clothing, which included wide-brimmed hats, boots, chaps, and often a bandana around their necks. While the image of the cowboy has become iconic in American culture, the actual work of a cowboy required considerable skill in handling horses, roping, and managing cattle herds.
Chasing after cattle is one of the main tasks of cowboys, and this scene also demonstrates the cowboy's grazing experience and strength. Capturing this moment from different perspectives is a challenging task for painters, and I used a complete object perspective to depict this scene in this painting.
