It’s a long bus ride from the airport into town. And there they are, the beautiful people all around, so a good time to get the sketchpad out. This is one sketch that came out of that bus ride.
Sketching is my daily exercise. It keeps that part of my brain sharp. I often work these sketches fast and furious. In this way I capture a unique mood. Often lines are rough and scratchy, but here it came out smooth.
