Original artwork description:

I painted this scene at Brecon, beside the Brecon and Monmouth canal.
It shows a typical canal narrow boat, which has been converted to carry passengers for holiday trips or for living aboard.
The stone bridge is also typical, being designed to allow horses to pass over. A parent and child are admiring the boat.
