Original artwork description:

Original, one of a kind artwork painted in acrylic on stretched box canvas of a barn owl in flight, skimming silently across a Norfolk reed bed. Some pallet knife work and layers of acrylic glazes used for the background (Short video of techniques used can be found on my facebook page, Wendy Kimberley Art, or the youtube link below). This artwork has painted borders so does not require framing unless desired and is ready to hang. It is finished with layers of gloss varnish for added durability and protection and signed on the front by artist. It also comes with a certificate of authenticity.

I was recently commissioned to paint a barn owl by a very good friend of mine. I was so sad to see him go and so loved painting him, I had to do another.
