A painting examining both the strength and grace of ballet dancers. By painting her in high figurative detail the abstract background throws her into true relief. I meant her to look like she was actually moving towards the viewer.
Its a painting I've been working on for the last few months. Now finished it shows the techniques learned over the last year in my painting series based on the ballet.
