Just for the record, I am a huge fan of pharmaceuticals. There is such a stigma, still in this day and age, against taking medication for mental health, anxiety, sleep disorder, testosterone depletion, and a litany of other ailments that people didn't ask for, but can be helped with medication. Mind you, the girlfriend I was living with in NYC in the 90's was prescribed a Prozac and Lithium combo that almost had her committing suicide, but today, safety protocols are at an all-time high.
As I get older, I want to live to the maximum capability my physical body can. Therefore, I need some help, as many others do. I take meds without reservation, or shame because without them, my quality of life would be diminished, and that of my lovely wife and children.
So eradicate the stigma, sleep easy, be in control of what you need when you need it, and live happily and fruitfully.
Side note: The figure is my late dog Jamie in a unicorn mask :)
Acrylic, spray paint, glitter, colored pencil
