Part of my impasto abstract meadow collection, "On A Day Like This" is an extra large meadow ready to make a statement!
This beautiful painting has a rainbow coloured, blended sky with splattered grasses upon it. The pink, purple, blue and lemon flowers have an impasto quality which give the piece depth and texture. The sky has a subtle glitter glaze which catches the light at certain times of the day.
The painting has been protected by two layers of varnish. It is fairly lightweight and easy to hang on two nails. It will be double wrapped in cardboard for transit.
