This acrylic painting is is an abstract representation of the symbol Omega. The Omega symbol, within this context, represents eternity and means God and Jesus are eternal beings. The Alpha and Omega symbols were often used by the early Christians in juxtaposition as visual symbols for Christianity.
ALL CUSTOMERS PLEASE NOTE - This piece is sold as a loose canvas only, and is not ready to hang. It will be delivered rolled in a heavy-duty parcel tube.
Painted on 100% cotton duck canvas, which will come off of the temporary stretcher frame and be dispatched. So once received it should be mounted on another suitable stretcher frame, and then hung with or without a decorative main frame.
It is signed and dated at the back, varnished for protection and a certificate of authenticity provided. The overall size of the canvas is 142× 112cm and the painting size is 122 × 92 × 4cm. It can be hung in either portrait or landscape format, once back on a stretcher frame.
