This beautiful, sunny olive tree grove is one of so many in Puglia where I have spent some fantastic summer holidays with my family. I couldn't resist stopping the car to take the photo for this painting on our way to the beach. It definitely gives the feeling of the heat, the cool shade and the incredible colours. If you're interested, Puglia is at the heel of Italy. It has ancient, millenarian olive trees that are spectacular.
