Original artwork description:
This is an original oil painting of an Olive Tree near Fiesole, a small town in the Tuscan countryside near Florence. I actually snuck off from a friend's BBQ to paint this, and ended up picking out this tree amongst many in the olive groves near his house. I thought this tree in particular had a beautiful crooked shape, and loved the contrast between the dark trunk and the distant hills, and the greys of the leaves with the bright greens of the grass.
Unframed size - 30cm (H) x 30cm (W) x 0.6cm (D)
Additional information: Painted on Linen canvas board, using high quality michael harding oil paints, and finished with gamvar gloss varnish. Signed on the front, and titled, dated and a list of materials on the back.
