Who doesn't know the ancient, venerable 1000-year-old olive trees. This sculpture was made from a fragment of a felled olive tree near Lake Garda in northern Italy. It literally screams to be decorated but is also an eye-catcher on its own. There are plenty of occasions throughout the year. The lying sculpture is 75 cm long, 38 cm high and 25 cm deep. At the base there is a bowl-shaped recess in which various decorative objects can be placed. Whether for Ikebana or Suiseki - art, whether for floristry, as a fruit bowl or as a lamp. The sculpture, carefully cleaned and styled into an abstract, organic form, is prepared. With a fine cut and treated with water-repellent wax, it shows the beauty of the grain in its own special way. Free from insect infestation and treated with ethanol as a precaution. The log roko (Roland Köpfer) is carved, a certificate with the work number 487 is included in the shipment. The decorative items shown are not included. The weight is 5,1 kilograms
