Olive grove in cadmium yellow, 2019.
Olive trees evoke the memories of Greek islands, Montenegro and Mediterranean. It is one of the most interesting trees with its gnarled and twisted trunks, silvery green leaves and delicious fruits. This artwork is bursting with bold colours of yellow, blue, orange and green and has a semi-abstract feel.
Most of my artworks are interconnected with a single theme emigrating from one painting to another in a same movement flow. This acrylic painting is no exception. It is derived from other works on paper and canvas and is part of my orchard series.
Please note that colours displayed will have some variations depending on exposure to the light and monitor callibration.
