I don't want to become another flower painting artist among the other botanical artists. But I get in Sicily so much inspiration for flower painting that sometimes it's difficult to stop floral painting.
So once between the photos of old floral paintings on canvas, I met old postcards with vintage botanical art.

It gives me the idea to create an alla prima oil painting. Last year this is one of my most preferable oil painting techniques.

It is some kind of botanical sketch. Botanical art painting on amazing linen canvas.

And of course, this art oil painting is another garden painting from life.

Because you know I live in a real paradise for botanical art

I created this collection "Alla Prima. Plein Air" to capture special flowers from my garden and beautiful landscapes with a focus on the colours in the natural light of the Mediterranean sun.
