Lockdown forced me to study my close surroundings more carefully. I wanted to reflect the chaos and mess of having the entire family at home for several months. The house is strewn with belongings so I decided to pick up the nearest pair of discarded trainers and paint them. This small image represents just one aspect of this strange year.
Oils on a deep cradled gesso board. 15 cm 15 cm. Unframed but can hang without a frame.
