Original artwork description:

"old Stick" an affectionate phrase for a likeable chap, which John the model is, and also the prop that was used on this ocassion. Sometimes there are Mybridge moments and ask the model to do a series of gradually moving poses to capture the body in motion. Which of course appeals to me greatly as that is the essence of the majority of my work.
