Many historical sites have been preserved in Prague. A lifetime is not enough to go around and draw them all. Of course, everyone likes something different.

I was attracted by this view of the Devil's Mill from the side of the Charles Bridge. First, I saw this wheel from the bridge. But then I realized that you could go down and enjoy the view from the dam, even make a sketch.
In the distance, you can see the old mill wheel. And around the house of a later era. Prague carefully preserves historical monuments. I am delighted with this fact.
In my painting, on the left, you can see a fragment of the arch of the bridge.

The original old name of the mill is hard for me to pronounce. I can only write - Velkopřevorskaya. And the mill got its second name from the name of the river Chertovka, on which it is located. It is said that a steep disposition distinguished this small, quiet river in the old days.
This place is terrific. It is called Czech Venice. The wheel spins, grabbing the water of the Chertovka River with its blades, and all nearby houses "stand" right in the water.
