Original artwork description:
An old French house and barn in Puy de Gaudy (Creuse, France), separated by a rickety old wall. Just out of sight, to the right of the house, were a few ancient sarcophagi, child sized, a reminder of how difficult life was in the medieval ages, but also how a small commune came together to work, worship, mourn and socialise.
An oil painting on a canvas I prepared, and later attached to a wooden board. It is A4 in size (21x29.7cm), signed and varnished.

Oil paints (Rembrandt, Old Holland, Winsor & Newton, Gamblin, lefranc & bourgeois)
