Original artwork description:

I spotted this pair of doors. The walls reflected a strong light, pure, white, energised. The shadows gathered in the corners of the door, adding mystery, adding relief too. I loved the juxtaposition of the red door, now faded, and the brown. Hints of coolth and damp are reflected in the gentle use of green paint.
It is a wonderful souvenir of France, a lovely gift too.

Texture has been added to create extra depth. The canvas is 0.5 inches deep and can therefore hang without a frame if wished.
