Original artwork description:

An old stone farmhouse with outbuildings in Charente France - a very typical sight in this region, close to the Limousin border, where most houses and hamlets typify a period from the early 19th century, and occasionally the 18th and 17th century too. There's a timeless element of a forgotten world, but one that still echos in our postmodern era.
It is painted in an impressionist manner on canvasboard (canvas mounted to a rigid board), and left for a year before varnishing.

Materials used:

Oil paints (Rembrandt, Old Holland, Winsor & Newton, Gamblin, lefranc & bourgeois)
