The painting depicts the house of my mother's childhood. It is situated in a rather wild place in the north. It's the kind of house you want to leave behind forever as you grow up. I visited when I was around 10-12 years old – an ideal setting for unleashing one's imagination and embarking on wild day-long adventures amidst swarms of mosquitoes. Unforgettable impressions linger. According to my mom, who revisited this now abandoned house, ghosts inhabit it, and the dense forest has encroached upon it, ready to completely engulf it soon.

The painting is covered by varnish - this ensures the longevity of the work and vividness of colors
