Original artwork description:

True to the principles of urban sketching, I drew this on location one August evening. After completing the drawing in fineliner (ink), I then used a Woody (a watercolour and wax crayon) to add highlights in white to the half-timbered building and the sky, and a grey watercolour pencil on the half timbering of the gable end of the building.

The paper is 30 x 21 cm pale grey Winsor & Newton 160 gsm pastel paper. The drawing is somewhat off-centre as shown in the photos.
