I could not resist bringing this colourful scene to life on canvas - the contrast between the vibrant reds and pinks and the earthy greens behind them just appealed to me so much - this has been a subject which I have painted before, and will certainly return to in the future. The bold, striking leaves against the mottled background just sing out loud!

Autumn colour at its finest, I think....

The edges of the canvas are painted white. This painting is sold unframed; it can be hung on the wall as it is, using the wooden structure behind the canvas, or you may prefer to have it framed with hardware to hang.

Signed on the front and varnished.
